New Private Minor Skin Surgery Service Launches in Gloucestershire from October 2017

GP Care have been providing private minor skin surgery services in the Bristol area since 2006. We have a team of highly experienced GPs who remove lesions that are often not funded on the NHS such as moles, cysts, chalazia (eyelid cysts) and skin tags. Following the success of this service in Bristol the service is now being extended to Gloucestershire.

We have two GPs from St Pauls Medical Practice in Cheltenham who will be providing minor skin surgery services from 6th October 2017. Dr Alex Owen will provide a weekly Friday afternoon clinic from 2.30pm-3.30pm in Portland Practice and Dr Peter Smith will provide a weekly Friday morning clinic from 10.30am-11.30am in the Corinthian Surgery.

We provide patients with an affordable one-stop appointment including consultation and removal of their lesion(s), up-to-date pricing and more information can be found here.

We will be introducing a Botox treatment service for axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating) which the Gloucestershire clinical commissioning group is now limiting NHS funding for new patients.
