GP Care has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer – John Campbell

John has over 25 years’ senior management experience in the NHS having worked in most sectors including acute, primary and community care service as well as in the third sector for a large charity.  The focus of much of John’s work has been on organisational and service development, successfully integrating services across health and care organisations to improve patient experience and outcomes.

John’s previous post before joining GP Care was Chief Operating Officer for Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust where he played an important role in the merger of 2 NHS Trusts and led the Trust’s response and recovery from the Covid pandemic and the successful roll out of the mass vaccination programme.

On joining GP Care, John said: “I am delighted to be joining GP Care at a time when there are exciting opportunities for the organisation to expand its services, building on positive relationships and partnerships with the NHS and across wider health and care systems.  I’ve already been really impressed by the quality and range of services GP Care offers, delivered by a diverse range of staff.  I personally can’t wait to join the Team and help further shape the vision for GP Care and contribute to the future success of the organisation”.

John formally joins GP Care on 28th June 2021.
