Appointment: January 2018I have spent over 35 years in the audit profession, working with Boards of companies of all sizes to help them understand the financial aspects of their decision making. More recently, I have been working in an International context, helping to shape and execute strategy for an accounting network within Europe, Middle East and Africa. What I have learned is that most things are possible if issues are well thought through and if you take people with you. I was the appointed auditor to a number of organisations in the NHS in the mid 1990’s and whilst the organisational structure of the NHS has changed, many of its key issues are very familiar!
